COME AND SING MESSIAH

This is your chance to sing Handel’s masterwork, The Messiah, with the combined forces of the wonderful Coolamon Singers and the organ of Mary Mother of Mercy church. Participants enjoy a full day of rehearsals with Maestro Marco Bellasi and organist Ayesha Gough, culminating in a roof-raising performance for family and friends in the beautiful acoustics of the church.

Participant Tickets:

$40 Adults. $30 Students and Centrelink card holders (Card number to be provided on application form).  Booking Fees Apply on top of this price. 

The cost includes the use of a Messiah score for the day (Schirmer edition) & light refreshments. Important: Only Schirmer scores are permitted (supplied).

Scores will be available for collection at Burleigh Village Uniting from 3:15-3:45pm on any Friday up until the Concert day.  Once enrolled, you can pick up an early copy.

8.45am Sign In

9.30 am - 11.00am First rehearsal

11.00 am - 11.30am Morning tea

11.30 am - 1.00pm Second rehearsal

1.00 pm - 2.30pm Lunch break (participants provide own lunch)

2.30 pm - 3.30pm Final rehearsal

5.30 pm Performance

Black concert attire - long sleeve shirts, trousers and shoes for gents; dress or

blouse/skirt or blouse/trousers for the ladies.
