Monsieur Camembert & friends present an intimate Leonard Cohen birthday soirée!

For the first time since 2016, the music of Leonard Cohen returns to the intimate surrounds of Camelot Lounge for a very special birthday celebration.

From 2010 to 2016, Camelot was the Sydney home of Monsieur Camembert’s annual Leonard Cohen birthday celebrations, with three nights of Cohen’s extraordinary music and words each year. The celebrations later moved to Sydney Recital Hall, evolving into the full-scale production that is now Cohen Noir.

With Cohen Noir heading to Melbourne and Perth, this intimate Camelot celebration offers a very different Cohen experience: Monsieur Camembert, surprise guests, a room full of friends, a drink or two, and the extraordinary writing of Leonard Cohen.

The evening will explore some new possibilities while dusting off a few Cohen pieces that haven’t had the opportunity to be performed in recent years.

Joining Monsieur Camembert from Berlin is extraordinary virtuoso violinist Daniel Weltlinger, back in Sydney for this special occasion.

Expect an evening of beautiful music and words, along with the wit and warmth that defined Leonard Cohen’s lifetime of expression.
