4 hour workshop for ages 6–10yrs. Children enjoy creative games and sensory art activities using mixed materials, supporting imagination, confidence, social connection, joy & self expression
Create, Play and Make Art is a supportive and engaging 4 hour workshop designed to help children connect, interact, and express themselves through play and creative art-making. Children will take part in fun group games and hands-on art activities, creating artworks they can proudly take home.
The workshop gently supports social skills, confidence, emotional expression, and cooperation in a safe and welcoming environment. Creative play encourages communication and connection, while art-making offers children a way to express feelings that may be difficult to put into words. Calm and reflective moments are woven throughout the session to help children regulate their emotions, build self-awareness, and feel grounded.
This workshop is particularly supportive for children who experience anxiety, shyness, or social challenges, offering a balance of movement, creativity, and quiet reflection. No art experience is needed.
What to bring:
• Lunch
• Water bottle
• Clothes that can get messy or a smock
All art materials are supplied.
