SNAP, CRACKLE & BOP is celebrating their 30th Anniversary & having a Big Celebration gig at Butchers Brew Bar!

SIMON ERT & SAUL RICHARDSON established the band after Simon's return from studying in NYC.  SC&B's first gig was at the Legendary Soup Plus in 1995.  Since then, they have played their infectious sound of Kansas City Swing  at venues, festivals & clubs across Australia & internationally.

Their unique lineup features Vibraphone, Trumpet, Bass, Guitar & Drums, taking you back to the days of Lionel Hampton, the Count Basie 5s, as well as The Benny Goodman small bands.

Simon & Saul have also performed extensively as part of a Rhythm Section with the likes of James Morrison, Pia Anderson, The Black & White Big Band, The Cocktail Cabinet, Eddy 7, Simon The Senator Bartlett, Nigel Date, Andrew Firth, Bobby Gebert, Col Nolan, Bob Henderson, Roger Frampton, Blaine Whittaker, Dom Halpin & the Suspects, Woody & the Senator, Rodric White, The Harbor City Jazz Band, Don Burrows, Little Pattie, Wes Pudsey & the Sonic Aces, Sara O’Connor, The Narrabeen Swingers Club, Bob Barnard, Slide McBride, The Velvet Set, Galapagos Duck, Ed Wilson & Members of the Danish Radio Orchestra & many others. 

SC&B has toured Europe & the USA playing at the Montreux, Brosella, Brienz, Antibes, Perugia, Hollywood, Atina & many other International Music festivals.  Simon is also the founder & Director of the Sydney Youth Jazz Orchestra as well as owner & Principal of the Jazz Workshop Australia & Jazz Camp.
