Join our knowledgeable volunteer guides for a special hour-long walk through the Arboretum’s ever‑changing forests. As you explore the trees, features and history of the National Arboretum, you’ll discover stories woven through its unique forests, with each species offering something new to appreciate.
In celebration of Canberra Tree Week, these guided walks showcase the beauty and importance of trees. Our dedicated guides will share their passion for trees as you connect with nature, learn more about the value of trees, and appreciate the exceptional forests that create the beautiful tapestry of the Arboretum.
Runs daily throughout Canberra Tree Week (2 - 10 May):
- Saturdays: 2pm - 3pm
- Sundays: 11am - 12pm
- Monday - Friday: 11am - 12pm

♿ Tree Week: Tales and Trails explores uneven terrain through the Arboretum forests. Please contact us to discuss how we can adapt a tour to your needs.
Useful Info:
- Suitable for ages 12+ (with an accompanying adult).
- Forest walks encounter uneven, sloped terrain. A moderate level of fitness is required.
- We recommend participants bring a drink of water, wear weather appropriate clothing and closed shoes.
