AI Art – A Fascinating Glimpse Into The Now

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we live and work – this is common knowledge. However, did you realize that AI is revolutionising the world of art? Artists are increasingly using AI to create innovative works of art. This year’s German Arts Evening will provide a fascinating look into the cutting edge of Creative AI at present.

Many pioneers come from the German-speaking world and some contemporary leaders in the field live and work right here in Brisbane. Working with a selection of these artists, this will be a German Creative Arts Experience based around the theme of Artificial Intelligence in art and music.

The event will combine performance, exhibition and panel discussions exploring the origins of AI and its application in art, its relevance for other disciplines such as design and technology, and the influence of artists in driving AI research and innovation.

In light of recent changes to Queensland Government restrictions relating to the pandemic, a COVID safe plan is implemented for all BGW events and masks must be worn. Please note the following additional event restrictions apply:

  • Indoor – 1 person per 4 square metres or 75% capacity with ticketed and allocated seating
  • Smaller venues up to 200 square metres – 1 person per 2 square metres, up to a maximum of 50
  • Outdoor – 1 person per 2 square metres
  • Eating and drinking must be seated
  • No dancing except at weddings.
