Psychography is the practice of writing words or messages without conscious control, often believed to be guided by spirits, the subconscious mind, or other unseen forces.

The writer holds a pen or pencil and allows their hand to move freely, producing words or symbols they claim are dictated by a spiritual entity or the subconscious.
