THE NOWADAYS are an alternative Sydney-based band with music spanning jangle pop, indie rock, bossa nova & neo-soul. Influenced by artists such as Alvvays, The Marías & Dominic Fike, their music consists of jazzy guitar tones, funky bass lines, upbeat drum beats & sassy pop hooks. Composed of four inner west teenagers - Alonso Manalac, Ethan Swissa, Harry Awad and Vevie Brook - this group have been honing their distinctly DIY sound in backyards, bedrooms & off-the-wall music venues for the past two years. With a passion for writing & performing their original music, they are now in the process of finishing their debut album.
