Event Details

Family owned, operated and making great wine since 1984, Pikes Wine was first established by brothers Andrew and Neil Pike on a 100 hectare on the slopes of the Polish Hill River area of the Clare Valley.

While best known for their Riesling they also produce an excellent Shiraz, and Cabernet for 35 years and have 20 different grape varieties planted on our estate, producing a wide range of wine styles to suit all tastes.

Join us with Jamie Pike for a 4 course meal accompanied by Pikes Wines at the Kensi.

Introduced early to the family business, Jamie spent his childhood weekends and holiday’s working in the family business undertaking all tasks from vine to bottle.

Since, then he has completed his Bachelor of Wine Marketing at Adelaide University, and gained over a decade of experience in the industry across retail, hospitality, distribution, sales and management. Working with esteemed wine companies like Bollinger, Henschke, St Hallett and Petaluma during a 6 year stint at wine distributor Fine Wine Partners. Then 2 years working with New Zealand’s most awarded Winery, Villa Maria as Brand Ambassador for NSW and ACT.

Jamie returned to the family business in early 2016 as Sales and Marketing Manager assist with marketing and selling the Pike brand around the world.

In early 2019, Jamie and his brother Alister became owners of Pikes Wines alongside his parents (Andrew & Cathy). In the process becoming 6th generation Pikes Family business owners in the SA beverage industry. His role now as Sales and Marketing Director for Pikes sees him working on many different aspects of the Pikes business.

When Jamie isn’t working in and on the family business, he spends his remaining time with his own young family (Harriet 5, Jack 3, and Margot 7 months) and wife Anneke. Jamie is also currently Studying an MBA at Adelaide University.
