The Life Activites Club invites you to experience Ground Golf. This activity is a club-and-ball sport created in Yurihama Japan to encourage seniors to enjoy sport and the outdoors.

The game is played with a double-sided club and a light bocce-sized ball and involves hitting the ball with the club towards a “cage” (at various distances from the tee).

Hole length varies, and some obstacles (hills, tree roots, picnic tables etc) may be utilized to make the hole a bit more challenging! 

Come along and join in the fun. It is an easy game to learn and play and has a low impact on the body (you are walking between holes and occasionally swinging a light club).

 Light afternoon tea will be provided at the conclusion of the event.

This event is held outside and will be weather-dependent. 

Please bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle.
