Macleay Floodplain Rainforest Remnant Working Bee

We have pushed this event back a week to avoid interfering with the SWR Dune care week—apologies for any inconvenience. 

Welcome to the Macleay Floodplain Rainforest Remnant Volunteer event, following the recent floods. This event we will be meeting back at a remnant volunteers have recently supported to revegetate, to reconsolidate tree guards that have floated off trees, do some weeding and infill some plants that have died due to inundation of flood waters. This is a very special/rare place in the Macleay Valley so we appreciate any support in lending a hand to conserve this magnificent patch of forest.

Itinerary:

9 - 9: 30 am: Arrival, sign on, safety and work briefing

9: 30 - 10:45 am: Work

10: 45 - 11 am:  Morning tea

11 - 12: 30 pm: work

12: 30 - 1 pm: event finish
