Rotary Club of Broome

The Rotary Club of Broome is a mixed Gender Club meeting fortnightly at The Roey.

For almost 20 years we have been organising the annual Dragon Boat Regatta on the prestine Town Beach in Broome overlooking Roebuck Bay. This is our Club's biggest annual fundraiser event with 20+ teams competing in teams of 14-18 people on a fun filled day. It all starts with the dotting of the eye at 8.30am on Saturday 14 September and weather permitting we'll run until approximate 4pm. 

The money raised will be donated to Rotary International as well as local community projects for the better outcomes of our communities. 

This is one of the biggest sporting events in Broome that attracts locals and visitors alike and it's a day for great camaraderie and team bonding!

There will be great prizes to be won including a raffle, sausage sizzle organised by the Lions Club and to keep you cool a cash bar with chilled alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. NO BYO!!
