Many employees feel the immense stress and pressure that comes with their job responsibilities. You may have witnessed a colleague collapse or experience a violent outburst. These are things that seem strange to you if you don't know them well. You might even be experiencing the exact same feelings. Your ability to manage stress will have a negative impact on your work ethic and productivity as well as your relationships with family and friends. As such, we've created a training course specifically designed to help people become more resilient against stress, maintain high productivity and live a better life. Our trainers will make sure you have a stress-free, fun experience so that you don't have any other worries. You can also request customized training courses. If you feel you need additional advice on anger management, you can combine this training course with our Anger Management Training Program. You have many options to choose from, so the ultimate goal is to provide the best training experience.
The biological resource of stress is an incredible one that can save our lives in a split second. It's a great tool for our bodies to help us achieve our goals. Too much stress can affect your appreciation for work and your view on the world. Professionals need to be able to manage stress and avoid further stressful situations. This training course will help you do all this. We are here to help you. Training can also be customized to meet your needs. For more information about this or other training courses, contact us!
Stress, contrary to popular opinion, is actually a biological function that the body employs to respond to various scenarios. Think of it as a kind of emergency power-up that allows you to become faster, stronger and more responsive to any threat for a short period of time. (Not that you’d literally grow muscles for a short while of course, but we would love that!) However, just as a balloon pops with too much air, too much stress can have very debilitating effects not just on yourself, but the people around you and can affect companies at a much larger scale than most people would think. Through this training course, you’ll learn more about the scientific literature behind stress, the consequences of feeling too much stress and how to deal with them.
We teach employees how to regain their footing. Nothing can bring as much pressure as a deadline as it robs you of your time to look forward to the next Great Meme or that adorable cat picture we keep going back to on our favorite social media sites. Worse still, you probably feel starved for time to even reevaluate your life choices altogether. We completely agree; life should be all about having fun, and we’re determined to give that sense of joy back to you. Through our training course, you’ll be guaranteed to interact with others and smile once more with new techniques used to regain your footing.
We often shun the idea of work and think of it as a sort of nuisance in our lives. We’re also pretty sure that even the most determined of us have at least tried to put our alarm clocks on snooze once or twice. At best, we see work as an avenue to ensure our survival or that of the state’s as we pay our taxes. In other words, we see work as a necessary means for the common good. However, these reasons may not be able to comfort you on a personal level, and so you might still feel as though you don’t really know what you’re aiming for. This training course addresses that by getting to the heart of the matter: how else can we see work itself? If you want to know more about these reasons and how they can compel you to work further, think about booking in. You can even create new reasons for yourself and meet new people and perspectives by joining in our group discussions!
As we know, stress is often gradual and the result of an accumulation of various scenarios throughout the day. Between having an argument with your partner, friend or colleague and meeting a seemingly-impossible deadline, you can feel all sorts of negative emotions: anger, despair, sadness, you name it. Here, it is important to learn that the very first way to deal with stress is actually not to deal with it, but to prevent even further stressful scenarios from happening; this means keeping your cool and protecting yourself in each of these cases as giving in to your inner demons can cost you your friends and even your career. As such, our training course is also designed to help you cope with negative situations as they come along. You’ll have various group discussions talking about the worst possible events and learning how to confront these situations with a rational, calm mind. Here, we’ll not only give you the sword with which to slash your stress away, but a shield with which you can use to prevent further stress from coming in.
Aside from general descriptions of stress, we also have very specific cases and solutions reserved for people in call centres and those thinking about going into the industry. This is because being in call centre industry can be very stressful. One important reason for this is general lack of rest or breaks, which comes from the fact that call centre agents need to deal with complaints or issues and problem solve all day. This is also true for supervisors and leaders within the field who, as a result, have to deal with constant employee attrition and dissatisfaction. Our training course will therefore aim to benefit not just employees, but prospective leaders by arming them with knowledge on how to cheer their employees up.
Pun aside, in any workplace, one of the best ways to deal with collective stress is having a sense of collaboration and company culture as it provides employees a crucial motive that can outweigh any stress overload: kindness. We don’t mean to be cheesy here: kindness really does give you that extra oomph which compels you to stay and be more productive as an employee and more importantly, as a person. It is therefore crucial for us to help you know how to spread this sense of kindness within the workplace.
