Acrylic Dirty Pour and Flip Cup Pour Art - Suitable for absolute beginners and any creatives looking for something new to inspire them!

What is an Acrylic “dirty pour” you might be asking, well, it’s a technique whereby we layer individual colours in a cup, and then pour them onto a surface all at once. This technique is quite popular and can produce a variety of abstract artwork.

The acrylic “flip cup pour” is slightly different to the dirty pour and involves placing your cup of paint upside down onto a surface, and then lifting or dragging the cup off to allow the paint to flow out.

Both techniques are suitable for absolute beginners or any creatives looking for something new to inspire them!

Held in the Collective Obsessions private studio in Bassendean, this workshop runs for approximately 2 structured yet extremely fun filled hours, during which you will create 2 x 100mm coasters, a 20cm square and a 30cm square double edge artist quality canvas.

Everything is supplied. All you need to bring is your imagination and a willingness to learn!
