Join emerging Sydney jazz saxophonist Leo Marland & his group on a journey that paints a modern picture of the legacy left by jazz pioneer, Thelonious Monk. 

Known for his unique & often unpredictable improvisation style, Marland’s sound is modern & sporadic, taking inspiration from artists across the jazz lineage & beyond, including Eric Dolphy, John Coltrane &  Robert Glasper.

The opportunity to listen to, engage in & ponder the work of this unique upcoming young Australian jazz artist is one not to be missed.
