Groove Cruise #61 features The Harpo Walker Band with Tom 'Harpo' Walker on vocals, guitar and harmonica (whose 'Bruised Heart Blues' CD reached #1 on the UK Blues Charts and #5 on the Australia Blues & Roots charts), young maestro Michael Carline on lead guitar, special guest Doug Brown (who leads Django Blackheart) on guitar and vocals, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher Karl Mardon on bass, and Pedro Mellodrums on drums. These guys are great entertainers, and play a mixture of Tom's original compositions, and well-known Americana, Blues and Roots songs.
