HOY-HOY!

Or I should say, Hoy-Hoy! Everybody.

I'm putting Hoy-Hoy! Back together and playing SA's best venue, The Arkaba, and why not include one or two of the all time fan favourites, original tunes and ones we made our own.

About 5 years ago I retired the band due to ill health but then thought, "nah, I like these toons too much, and I'm sure the fans do."

Over 27 years I wrote about 18 originals, got tired of some and put them away, and then ran new ones for a while. The 'Don't Tell Frank' C.D. sold over 1.500 copies over the years and I have it on good advice that this disc still gets regular spins.

Let's call it a late life crisis , but 'I wants to sing my songs.'

So I asked legendary guitarist, Dave Rodes to help me out, and Jeff Algra is a rock solid drummer, and I will use the mighty Gabbs on sax. He played on the 'Don't Tell Frank' C.D.

Mr. Don Morrison is one heck of a great songwriter and will open the show, and if I ask politely he might help with some Harp, so don't be late.
