Taimana Ensemble 2016 Concert Series

The Taimana Ensemble is a newly founded chamber group based in Brisbane, Australia. Formed with the intention to explore the chamber music repertoire, the group is committed to the discovery of works written for flute, cello and piano, a combination often seen as obscure.

The three members of the Ensemble, Australian flautist Emma Armstrong, Korean-Australian cellist Min Jin Sung and New Zealand pianist David Jenkin, each spent time studying in London at the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, before returning to Australia to form the Ensemble.

The Taimana Ensemble will be presenting a series of concerts over the course of 2016. These concerts include works written for flute, cello and piano as well as for flute and piano and cello and piano.

Subscription tickets are available for all five concerts and can be purchased by selecting the subscription ticket option through the first concert.
