Silver Sircus join forces with one of their favourite musical entities SS.Sebastian for a very special double bill show at brand new Brisbane venue It's Still A Secret. Located at 48 Montague Road, South Brisbane (formerly The Joynt/Milk Factory), this beautiful space is a very welcome addition to the Brisbane live music scene.

Silver Sircus will be in their new leaner/darker quintet mode while SS.Sebastian (possibly with some special guests) will be showing off his new single Moon & Mountain.

Silver Sircus is an ever-evolving collective led by vocalist/lyricist Lucinda Shaw and drummer/composer James Lees. Since 2008, they have built a highly eclectic world of sound incorporating dark cabaret performance, electronica, post-rock, prog and chamber folk elements. In varying formats, the band has delivered acclaimed performances for arts/music festivals all over Australia and has released several singles/EPs and two albums. After a recent hiatus, the band slimmed down to a quintet, performed an online performance during the Brisbane lockdown winter, released two EP's of new remixes and is currently working on new material.

SS.Sebastian is the musical project of singer/sound-maker and multi-instrumentalist, Brett Harris. His compositions have been described as gritty, minimal and melancholic. Beginning his live-music career with folk-rock septet ‘The Good Ship’ (2010-2016), he has since created soundtracks for a number of Australian theatre productions, contributed to several collaborative music projects and released a collection of singles including a BADC Award winning music video. He continues to collaborate in the acclaimed Electric Moon ensemble, who have variously interpreted the works of David Bowie, Lou Reed, Kate Bush and the music of David Lynch's Twin Peaks. His latest single and video Moon & Mountain – a jangly, piano-pop song celebrating sentimentality, holding a flame for other times (or people) and catchy sing-alongs.
