Tierra Roja takes audiences through the sounds of contemporary Flamenco, via Latin-America & explores both the traditions & newfound breadth of Flamenco. Tierra Roja is inspired by; the red earth of the Australian centre, Flamenco music’s connection to country, the prevalence of red in Flamenco culture & of course – gypsies’ connection with the land.

Enjoy the unique pairing of guitar, voice & harmonica with a surprising blend of Nuevo Flamenco, Jazz & Latin-American favourites. Featuring the earthy vocals of Flamenco singer Zoe Vélez, the sonorous guitar of Facundo Vanerio, & a sound that is deftly & uniquely uplifted by the harmonica of Aramís Ribero.

Their latest show will add the ever-popular Flamenco dance element into the mix, & feature a mesmerising dancer.

This exciting new project by award-winning Flamenco producer Zoe Velez (Flamenkisimo), aims to introduce new audiences to Flamenco and the burgeoning local community of artists.
