Petrol Bomb performing at Club Sapphire Auditorium on Friday, 8th January 2027. Doors open 7pm, support: 8pm, Petrol Bomb: 9.20pm. Tickets $25+BF General Entry. 18+ event.

Formed during little lunch at Eden High School with the goal of winning a $5 canteen voucher at the talent quest, which they lost, Merimbula’s Petrol Bomb is a band that hasn’t let setbacks deny their pursuit of playing rock’n’roll. In fact, Petrol Bomb’s raw energy and unpredictable performances embody the true spirt of the loud art. Over 25 years, this 5-piece ensemble has built a sound of their own and a knack for keeping audiences on their toes, wondering if they’ll witness a spectacular meltdown or an unforgettable show. While they might not boast the technical prowess of some of their peers, they more than compensate with their passion and flair for the unexpected. Each gig is an adventure, promising a night of wild entertainment that leaves fans both amused and intrigued. Their enduring presence in the music scene is a testament to their ability to connect with audiences on a visceral level, proving that sometimes, rock ‘n’ roll is as much an experience as it is a sound. With the release of ‘Left Wing, Right Wing, Wayne King’, the first new music in nearly 20 years, Petrol Bomb are back with a sound unlike anything you’ve heard before. Accompanied with unforgettable film making skills and a desire to push their live shows to the next level, Petrol Bomb are something that you need to see at least once in your life.
