Email & Time Management: Take Back Control of Your Workday

This webinar will help you understand why modern work makes it so easy to lose control of your day, and what you can do to change it.

Rather than focusing on productivity hacks, we'll explore the behaviours and systems that have the biggest impact on your effectiveness. You'll discover practical ways to reduce distractions, make better decisions about your time, and use email as a tool instead of letting it dictate your day.

You'll leave with a clear roadmap to build sustainable habits, prioritise meaningful work, and take control of your inbox with simple, proven strategies that save time every day.

1. The Reality of Email & Time Management

  • The hidden cost of interruptions, context switching and constant notifications
  • Understanding where your time really goes

2. Habits: Old vs New

  • The habits that quietly steal hours every week
  • Replacing reactive behaviours with intentional habits
  • Small changes that create lasting improvements

3. Your Time Management Roadmap

  • Design your time
  • Eliminate time leaks
  • Focus and get unstuck
  • Manage your energy

4. Your Email Management Roadmap

  • Reduce incoming volume
  • Set expectations
  • Use tools intentionally
  • Follow etiquette rules

The workshop is delivered live online via Zoom.

A recording and slide note handouts will be provided following the session.

What are people saying about Kate's training?

Here is some of the feedback.

"The slides supported the delivery, Kate's attention to detail and systems knowledge enriched the session. Tips and tricks were walked through with examples in real time, bringing the session alive. If anyone thinks they don't have time for this training, they need this training :) Despite having covered personal productivity training a number of times across my career, there were new things for me to apply. Plus, the opportunity to refresh on principles that I have become lazy with, that I need to re-activate in my daily working practice." Caro Roach, Our Watch

"Great resources and I like the recording of the session to go back to as a refresh." Kerry Fitzroy, Karralika Programs

"Loved it, right pace and perfect for my needs" Vivienne Williams, Kids Matters OT

Who should attend this short course?

Anyone who finds email or Teams demanding, distracting or time-consuming — and is looking for practical, simple ways to work more efficiently.
