Details
Cadastral surveying seminars are being held in Hobart and Launceston to inform land surveyors of developments impacting the profession. Seminars will include presentations from the Office of the Surveyor General and TasWater.
Topics covered by the Office of the Surveyor General will include:
• GDA2020 implementation update
• Land Tasmania policy
• Strata Titles Act review update
• Proposed new Survey Directions, Tasmania - GDA2020 amendments, Clerical amendments, Discussion and resolutions
• Matters under consideration for future Survey Directions
• Audit program 2019/2020 status update
In accordance with the Professional Development Directions Tasmania, attendance at a full seminar constitutes 4.5 points towards Land Survey Related Education.
Presentations begin at 2:00pm and conclude at 5:00pm, followed by a networking drinks and light food.
