An evening of creative, original, and somewhat unusual music that is sure to entertain you (in one way or another). Three acts, fifteen bucks, unlimited enlightenment.

Facemeat: Inspired by the likes of John Zorn and Frank Zappa, and comprising some of the best of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, this band is abrasive, uncompromising, and unsettling. Rooted somewhere near the transgressive art tradition, Facemeat is the east coast's most problematic superband.

Recalibrate: Positive energy, tight riffs, dubby sounds, inventive songwriting and unconventional rhythms, all delivered with big smiles. A sweet bundle packed by musicians from Hinterlandt, Meniscus, Serious Beak, Captain Kickarse and the Awesomes, Snob Club and all sorts of other proggy bands.

Hellogrimbo: The brainchild of film composer turned producer-songwriter, Helen Grimley. It’s alt-soul, with a quarter of a tab thrown in for measure.
