Join us for a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop exploring the principles of bush regeneration, plant identification, and practical tools and techniques to care for our native landscapes. Hosted by Brent Hely from New Earth Regeneration, this session is perfect for newcomers and those with a bit of experience looking to deepen their understanding.

Brent brings over thirty years of experience in ecological restoration and regenerative land management on the NSW North Coast, having worked with communities, councils, and landholders to improve degraded landscapes and foster resilient ecosystems.

He’ll share insights tailored to our region, where weeds are no joke—but not all are baddies. Learn how to spot the difference between invasive species and beneficial weeds, and discover how thoughtful regeneration can restore balance to our ecosystems.

Whether you're a new Landcare member keen to learn the ropes or a seasoned volunteer looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop offers something for everyone.
