COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This Raffle is run by Dance Central ACT PTY LTD (ABN 80625931281) located at 13-15 Altree Court Phillip ACT 2606 Australia.

The Raffle is for the benefit of our Elite Program; Crew and Troupe Students, in particular, our Crew students representing Canberra and Australia at the World Hip Hop Competition in Phoenix Arizona, USA.

By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.

Entry Conditions

• 1)The competition is open to entrants aged 18+ years of age.
• 2)Entry is open to all permanent ACT residents.
• 3)By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible (over 18 and ACT resident) to receive any prizes that are awarded to you.
• 4)Raffle Ticket Sales will commence on Friday 7 June 2024 and conclude on Saturday 15 June 2024.
• 5)The prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
• 6)We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
• 7)Dance Central’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Prizes

There are three prizes, First, second and third prize.

First prize valued at:  $5995.98

Second prize valued at: $2022.98

Third prize valued at: $1672.98

Raffle Draw Process

• 1)The draw for the winners will take place at the conclusion of the Crew and Troupe Mid-Year Show Fundraiser, at Telopea Park School on Saturday 15 June at approximately 9 PM.
• 2)Prizes will be drawn simultaneously starting with the first prize.
• 3)Winning entries will be drawn electronically on stage.
• 4)If the winner is not present, they will be called and emailed.
• 5)The winners will be published on the Dance Central website and will be emailed to the Dance Central database in the Community news on Tuesday 18 June 2024.
• 6)If the winner cannot be reached within 2 weeks, Dance Central will draw another winner on Monday 1 July 2024 at Dance Central and announce in community news on Tuesday 2 July and publish on the website on the same day.

General Conditions

• 1)If for any reason the raffle is not capable of running as planned, including (but not limited to) tampering or any other causes beyond the control of Dance Central, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of the raffle, Dance Central reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle, subject to any direction given under state permit regulations.
  
  
• 2)In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event that naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; Dance Central may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.
  
  
• 3)Dance Central reserves the right to disqualify any person who Dance Central has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to interfere with the fair and proper conduct of this Raffle. Dance Central’s legal rights are reserved to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
  
  
• 4)Dance Central accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss, damage or liability suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or incurred by any of the prize-winners in relation to the prizes or the raffle, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The winners release Dance Central, their related bodies, corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the prizes.
