In 2014, at just 32 years old, Travis Sturch survived a catastrophic workplace accident that changed his life forever.

His injuries were extensive, including fractures across multiple levels of his spine, neurological complications, severe joint and nerve damage, and years of ongoing medical treatment. Since then, Travis has undergone 24 major surgeries across his spine, brain, hips, shoulders and nervous system.

For the last 12 years, Travis has been fighting to regain quality of life. For four years he had to relearn how to walk, a journey that continues today.

Despite unimaginable setbacks, Travis has continued to show extraordinary resilience, determination and hope.

Today, almost 12 years later, Travis continues to live with severe neuropathic pain and regular hospital admissions simply to manage day-to-day life. Along the way, more than $1.8 million has been spent on surgeries, rehabilitation and medical care, exhausting personal resources in pursuit of improved quality of life.

Among the numerous procedures and treatments Travis has undergone, one treatment has provided genuine hope, live stem cell therapy.

Following treatment, Travis experienced reduced inflammation, improved nerve response and increased function. While the improvements were meaningful, ongoing treatment is required to continue building on that progress. Unfortunately, stem cell treatment is not covered by insurance.
