The University of Newcastle Rugby Club is looking to achieve a $5,000 donation to RUN DIPG. We know that with your help we can achieve this generous gift to support research into childhood brain cancer, including diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). 

Our club's assistant 1st-grade coach, Associate Professor Matt Dun (#1580) and his family were devastated by this horrendous disease. Matt now dedicates his career to finding answers for families. 

In the cruellest of coincidences, seahorse #1212 Aaron Binnie and his family, unfortunately, followed the same story. Aaron has since told his story to our players at the 2022 RUN DIPG Rugby Round. 

We are calling on our alumni to support us in fundraising by registering a team of 4 for $500 or sponsoring a hole for $1000. We will host the nearest to the pin, the longest drive, and a driving range challenge. 

Drinks stations will be set up around the course, breakfast included, and a great day to kick of the 2023 social calendar and rugby season.
