In celebration of National Ag Week 2021, PIEFA will be hosting twenty nation-wide live Farmer Time sessions for students from Foundation to Year 12, showcasing producers from a broad range of food and fibre industries.
The focus of these sessions is to assist students to develop an understanding of the importance of Australia's primary industries.
Join us for this online session, where we chat with Farmer Tim Kingma about 'pork' and pig farming.
Farmer Tim will share insights into his life as a pork producer, the journey from paddock-to-plate, and careers in pork production. Throughout this session, students are welcome to send their questions to Farmer Tim in the chat section for him to answer during his presentation.
This session is designed for students in Years 11-12 and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
