PRATT /PRICE WITH JESS CIAMPA

An exciting, percussion-based ensemble blending jazz & modern classical influences. The band plays original works by Daryl Pratt (vibraphone) & Mike Price (guitar), & features Jess Ciampa (percussion).

Daryl’s performance spans elite jazz & classical genres. Noted collaborations include with The Australian Art Orchestra (1994-2001), AtmaSphere (1991-2003), the Chad Wackerman Group (1997-2006) as well as Daryl’s own group Sonic Fiction.

Mike has had an extensive career both here & in the USA. In Australia he’s played with many top musicians including Miroslav Bukovsky, Jonathan Zwartz, Vince Jones & Bernie McGann. Mike was also Head of Jazz studies at the ANU from 1997 to 2012.

Jess is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and has performed with the SSO, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, ACO, Synergy, the Seymour Group & the Sydney Dance Company.
