Corporate Digital Responsibility

Corporate Digital Responsibility is a set of practices and behaviours that help an organisation use data and digital technologies in ways that are perceived as socially, economically, and environmentally responsible.” (corporatedigitalresponsibility.net)

In opportunity-rich economies and societies, new business models and sophisticated technologies facilitate previously unseen ways of running a business. Combined with the rising demand to go beyond purely economic measures of success and to also contribute to societal and environmental challenges, organisations are now facing an entirely new responsibility. This year’s German Business Day will surface the related challenges and evolving practices in the new domain of Corporate Digital Responsibility (CDR). Going beyond the approaches of global enterprises, we will undercover what scaling-down CDR to the constraints of smaller organisations means in terms of its rewards and requirements.

A partnership between the innovative German Australian Business Alliance (iGABA), the German Australian Business Council (GABC) and the German Australian Business Women Association (GABWA), theGerman Business Day2023 will continue our series of ahead-of-the-demand-curve seminars to maximise your level of preparedness.

The event will also see the official launch of young iGABA (yGABA) – an entirely new, energetic community of rising talent, emerging leaders and future game changers eager to shape and benefit from the growing and maturing German-Australian business and trade partnership.
