Quality Coding in General Practice using Top Bar and CAT4

Presented by James Alcorn,  MPHN is delivering a PENCAT workshop for GPs, Practice Nurses and Staff. This workshop supports practices to make the most out of their data, data cleaning and quality improvement.

Topics:

·Learn how to use clinical coding to improve the quality of data in clinical software.

·Correctly enter (code) clinical data such as allergies, blood pressure, height, weight, and past medical history.

·Use the PEN Clinical Audit Tool to identify patients either at risk of developing chronic disease or with established chronic disease in order to target appropriate treatment.

·Explain how the Top Bar can identify gaps in data quality
