High Country Gravel @ Crows Nest Ride Weekend

Escape the rat race and come and ride to the beautiful high country surrounding the Crows Nest region in Queensland. All rides have a combination of gravel and bitumen roads. The roads are quiet with minimal traffic

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tickets

  1.  Day Pass- $40 per person
  2. Weekend Pass- $70 per person
  3. Registration Includes a $10 voucher that can be redeemed at selected local services

Accommodation

Riders are responsible for booking their own accommodation in Crows Nest or the surrounds

Friday 17 April 4:00pm-Sunset Cruise 30km and 350m elevation

*Meet in Centenary Park at 3:30pm for a 4:00pm roll off

*Cost NIL

*Riders must have their own light for the return journey

Saturday 18 April 

Option 1- Long Ride 70-80kms (Toilets on Route).  Approximately 1000m elevation

*Meet in Centenary Park by 8:30am for a 9:00am roll off

*Riders must bring their own water and ride snacks

*There will be an opportunity for coffee and Ebike charging in Goombungee

*Support vehicle will have extra water and can carry your battery charger. Please label these.

Option 2- Short Ride- 30-40kms. Approximately 500m elevation

*Meet in Centenary Park by 8:30am for a 9:15am roll off

*Riders must bring their own water and ride snacks

*Support vehicle will have extra water

Sunday 19 April

Option 1 Long Ride- 50kms (no Toilets on route). Approximately 950-100m elevation

*Meet in Centenary Park by 7:30am for a 8:00am roll off

*Riders must bring their own water and ride snacks

*Support vehicle will have extra water and can carry your battery charger. No battery charging opportunity.

Option 2 Short Ride- 30-40kms. Approximately 500m elevation

*Meet in Centenary Park by 7:30am for a 8:15am roll off

*Riders must bring their own water and ride snacks

*Support vehicle will have extra water

* Please let organizers know if you have ride insurance through one of the following- Bicycle QLD, Aus. Cycling, Other. If not you will be asked to sign a indemnity waiver at the start of the ride.

* A ride could be cancelled due to lack of riders.

Refund Policy

Refunds up to 2 days before the event, Injury or Illness only. Riders must contact the organizer at least 2 days prior to the event for a refund.
