Description: Be on the water for a piece of maritime history. Join MYCT's heritage vessel ML Egeria as she heads out onto the Derwent to greet the Black Marlin — a 217-metre semi-submersible heavy-lift ship, and one of the largest vessels ever to enter our river.

The Black Marlin has travelled halfway around the world to collect China Zorrilla, the world's largest battery-electric ship, built right here in Hobart by Incat and bound for South America. Very few people ever get the chance to see a ship of this scale up close — and there's no better vantage point than from the deck of the Egeria.

Cruise out under skipper and crew, take in the sheer size of the vessel from the water, and toast a proud moment for Tasmanian shipbuilding.
