The principles of drypoint will be explained and demonstrated and participants will experience all aspects of creating their own fine art print. The process of etching, inking and wiping an acetate plate and then printing using an etching press will be explained and demonstrated. Techniques such as wiping the plate, Chine collé and a la poupée will be used to add interest and variety to the printed image.
