DR. PARALLAX is four best friends from Cairns who have been locking themselves in rooms for over two decades orchestrating instrumental chaos.

Over the years the band has played on stages in pubs, clubs, and festivals up and down the East Coast of Australia and has never failed to rock a crowd.

Their sound is hard to categorise as any one song can shift from mathy hardcore riffs to jazzy blues licks to syncopated metal breakdowns, all while snaking through off kilter rhythms and odd time signatures.

Think if Tool and The Dillinger Escape Plan had a mute baby that listened to a lot of Primus and Animals as Leaders.

THEREIN is a progressive metal band from Brisbane, Australia. A brazen writing style with little regard to trends or convention, and idiosyncratic tastes of the band members sees the band twist and turn through a nebulous catalogue of styles.

On October 31, 2020 the group released the full-length album Aramitama, consisting of songs that were gigged from the bands official inception in 2012 all the way through to songs that were written during the recording of the album. It also features artwork from Fuyou Nagashima, painted during a set in the final show of Therein's first Japanese tour. . The group has also released an extended re-issue of their debut album Nobelium (2015), along with a number of smaller releases all available through Bandcamp.

Therein are currently working on material for the next release and gearing up to hit the road again internationally when the COVID-19 pandemic allows.
