Our Poetry and Spoken Word events are now held on the second Saturday of the month at 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, with a Poetry Writing Workshop running from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is also to be confirmed at this stage.
Let's make April Amazing!
Our feature this April is Katie Lohner!
Katie Lohner is a spoken word and performance artist from Naarm (Melbourne). Her quirky and vigorous performance style has touched audiences, including LaMama Cabaretica, 3CR Radio, Melbourne Fringe Festival, The Festival of Surrealisms, Mother Tongue Poetry and Melbourne Spoken Word Festival. Her poetry has been described as being unencumbered, with a sense of freedom and joy. Her practice also extends from poetry to a range of physical theatre and character comedy.

Further information on our venue:
We are in discussion with the library about using the space there from May to December. For now, however, we are exploring other locations in Dandenong! The venue is to be confirmed!
Additional information:
This event is ticketed using ‘Pay as you Feel’ via Stickytickets, as the Gardens (or other venue) will continue to be open to the general public. Therefore, open-mic and feature presenters are asked to keep their works in the 'PG' range for this event.
Perc.U.lations is affiliated with Radio Laria and is committed to highlighting the voices of local women and gender-diverse poets and other marginalised voices.
Perc.U.lations is taking place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded, and we extend our respect to Indigenous elders past, present, and emerging.
