Touch an immersive sound experience

TOUCH an immersive sound experience, which plays with somatosensation, our sense of pain, vibration, temperature and body position. We will explore physical sensations and how they influence the way music and sound are perceived.

Sarah Monk on a variety of flutes, in collaboration with Naomi Dart on the cello, will explore 4 different physical sensations, using music they have selected, composed or improvised. The audience will also be given the choice to hold different textured objects to enhance or alter the sound experience.

This will be an evening of music not often experienced hwere in Newcastle, an evening not to be missed.

For this evening we will save the chai, tea and coffee till the end of the show.
