Warrumbungle Food Festival 2015 at Coonabarabran

Growing from the strong foundation of the inaugural Warrumbungle Food Festival in 2014, the 2nd is looking to be even better. Following that fabulous festival the Warrumbungle Wild Women organising team formed to dream up and bring together this year’s.

Be ready for 17 – 21 April 2015 @ Coonabarabran NSW, it’s going to be wonder-full and delicious! All the events are listed individually (below).

Setting the pace on Friday evening with stalls, mocktails, dinner and live entertainment! Jude Blereau, not only a leader in wholefood cooking but an amazing author, will be queen of the kitchen, cooking up a storm for this Feast, inspired by her visit last year. How fortunate are we to have the opportunity to be catered for by someone of Jude’s ilk, in little-old Coonabarabran? Very.

Live entertainment: Local talent will serenade us during the feast (brought to you by fRETFEST), followed by dancing to Winterbourne! How exciting is this? Our Feast and Fiesta will be the grand finale of their very first ever national tour, having sold out along the way!

(Note: Non- alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase at the venue).

Saturday, Sunday and Monday are packed with classes and seminars to choose from, stalls to check out, a singer song-writer workshop and a family appreciation evening as well.

Tuesday morning will round-off the festival with the last of the classes by the renowned Jude Blereau.

By then we will have enjoyed feasting, learned cheesemaking, wholefood cooking, all about food additives, fermenting, eco living, surviving cancer naturally, permaculture, holistic management, song-writing and more!

Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Graham Redhead will not be able to provide cheese making classes at this year’s festival.

We look forward to his return next year.

In the meantime, Graham has recommended for Kim O’Donnell to teach the cheesemaking class instead.
