Details

Selections will be held for Baulkham Hills 2024 12 Years Representative Program on 17 October 2023 at the Kellyville Netball Complex.

Selection criteria:

  • Players are required to be of age in the year of play they are nominating for (turning 12 in 2024 - born in 2012)
  • Players must attend all trials, except in extenuating circumstances and with the written permission of the Junior Representative Convenor
  • Nominations must be submitted by Sunday 15 October
  • Players must pay the deposit to trial ($150 plus booking fee)
  • Late applications may not be accepted
  • All players must have a valid Rules of Netball Theory Pass - certificate of completion must be emailed to the Junior Representative Convenor by Sunday 15 October (https://learning.netball.com.au/login/index.php)

Nomination fees:

  • The deposit will be forfeited if the nominee:
    • Withdraws from trialling less than 24 hours before selections
    • Fails to turn up to selections
    • Withdraws after squads are announced
    • Withdraws from a team once final teams are announced
    • Players selected will have the nomination fee applied to the fees associated with the program for 2024
  • Players not selected into the squad will receive a full refund of the nomination fee, less the non-refundable booking fee

Program Commitment:

  • Squads may train for up to 10 weeks and may include pre-Christmas sessions
  • All players selected into a Representative Squad must register to play with a BHN affiliated club by 31 January 2024.
  • All players selected into a Junior State Titles or Talent Development Team are subject to the Representative Player requirements as set out in the BHN policies and procedures
  • Junior State Titles Team
    • Maximum of 12 players
    • Attend 2 training sessions per week (including a strength & conditioning session)
    • May attend up to 5 representative carnivals held on Sundays throughout the representative season
    • Attendance at Junior State Titles (July 2024)
  • Talent Development Team
    • This is a skills based program designed to improve basic skills and develop court strategies
    • Maximum of 12 players
    • 1 training session per week and 1 strength & conditioning session per week
    • May attend up to 5 representative carnivals held on Sundays throughout the representative season 

Correspondence will be sent to all nominating players prior to selections confirming relevant information for trials.

Refund Policy

No refund, Players not selected into a team will receive a full refund less the non refundable booking fee
