Breath play is one of the most popular kinks, but also one of the most dangerous. This hands on workshop is aimed at helping attendees learn how to engage in this kind of play in a way which focuses on harm minimisation and being aware of possible risks.

Kinds of breathplay which will be discussed include: choking, oral sex, choke chains/collars, and smothering.

We will also discuss bondage and body positions which have the side effect of restricting breathing.

Overarching topics will include how to incorporate breathplay in a risk aware way, kinds of play which you may not be aware carry risk of asphyxiation, and making sure your bottom is fully informed about the dangers of this kink.

There will also be a discussion on what to do if something goes wrong, including basic first aid and when to seek help.

There will be some opportunity to work with a partner. If you attend alone you may have the option to pair up, but this is not guaranteed. There will also be time for questions, including answering any which cover kinds of breathplay not already discussed as part of the workshop.

This workshop is designed for both those who are beginners to this kind of play, but also those who are wanting to become more informed about risks and safety measures. It is of value to both tops and bottoms to this kind of play.
