Come along to a hands-on workshop, led by George Turman Senior Land Services Officer, where you'll gain essential knowledge on identifying and understanding the nutritional value and productivity of different paddock plants.
We will also hear from Moree Plains Shire Council's Weed Officer, Lachie Biddle, who will share valuable insights into weed identification, management practices, and your responsibilities when dealing with invasive species. It's a fantastic opportunity to ask questions and receive tailored advice on how to best manage weeds in your paddocks.
After the talks, join us for a guided walk through the paddock, where you'll have the chance to put your new knowledge into practice and identify plants and weeds directly in the field.
Pip Jones, North West NSW Node Manager for the SQNNSW Innovation Hub , will talk to the role of beneficial insects in the landscape, and where they live.
Morning tea will be provided, offering a chance to relax and network.
Don’t miss out on this informative and interactive workshop designed to improve your pasture management and overall land health!
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!
