Event Details

This advanced education event aims to build confidence in caring for neonates and infants with life-limiting conditions and their families. The workshop is intended for all health disciplines with experience supporting neonates and infants with palliative care and end-of-life needs. It is highly encouraged that participants have previously attended a PPCS or QuoCCA course in perinatal, neonatal and infant palliative care within the past few years.

Announcing the 2024 Workshop Theme:

"Nourishing: a workshop exploring Nutrition, ethical considerations, communication and sustainable practice." along with many other exciting topics.

When: Friday, 9th August 2024. 8am - 1630pm

Where: Queensland Children’s Hospital Auditorium, Level 7, 501 Stanley St, South Brisbane

Cost: Free, numbers will be limited to 50 participants.

Please note, BYO morning tea and lunch. Refreshments may be purchased on-site.

Parking: Hancock Street Car park, Mater Car parks, Southbank Parklands Car parks – costs apply. Mater Hill bus station is directly opposite the hospital. If traveling by rail, the closest train station is Southbank. It is a 500m walk from the train station to the hospital.

This event is planned to be run only as an in person event.
