Are you ready to make a commitment to your own health and wellbeing? Are you ready to feel truly comfortable in your own body? Are you ready to live your life with vibrancy and presence?

If so, I invite you to join me on this new workshop.

This is a one-day workshop, but my hope is that it will be like a stepping-stone into a new way of life for you. Once you experience the extra energy levels, the grounded sensation of really being present in your body, and the deepened sense of radiance and vitality, I hope that you will be motivated to continue with this new way of living. The tools and techniques you will learn can be integrated into your daily life; they will become a way of life.

he first centre to explore on the Chakra map is the base chakra. The spontaneous movements that emerge while dancing the base chakra tend to draw inspiration from tribal dancing, as found in the indigenous cultures of Africa, Australia and North America. These tribal dances are linked to the issues of the base, including our roots, survival and grounding. In CHAKRADANCE, emphasised movements of the legs and feet connect us to the solid earth. Many envisage dancing around an ancient campfire, bringing the primitive tribal dance to life. These ancient cultures also had imitative dances, emulating the movements of animals. Again, we can draw inspiration from these roots and dance in an animal-like way. In this wild and raw animal dance, our innate instinctual self is reclaimed.

When you are having trouble with your family, when you have lost your strength to go on, when you feel disconnected, dizzy, experience low blood pressure and lack an appetite and when you feel that your feet aren’t even close to touching the ground, it’s very likely that you’re experiencing an imbalance in your base chakra. Our base chakra connects us to our instincts. The Sanskrit name for the base chakra is Muladhara, which means root support, which is why this chakra is often referred to as the root chakra. Located at the base of the spine, this chakra is the foundation of our entire chakra system and contains patterns passed down from our families – both our bloodline and our soul-line, making this a powerful chakra to connect with our heritage. Without a strong base chakra, our other chakras lack a strong foundation, and so our entire chakra system can be compromised. By strengthening our base, our other chakras can begin to flow with health, vibrance and energy, too
