Water Access Information Session

Natural Resources Access Regulator (NRAR) will be providing information on water access rights for landholders and requirements and 'how to' for controlled activity approvals which are required before you perform work on waterfront land (which is up to 40m from the waterway).

DCCEEW-Water are replacing the Water Sharing Plan for the Nambucca Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2016.

The purpose of a water sharing plan is to:

• protect the fundamental environmental health of the water source
• ensure the water source is sustainable in the long-term, and
• provide all water users with a clear picture of when and how water will be available for extraction.
