Workshop 3: Animal Nutrition– Latest technology to manage your feed resources

Melissa is principal of The Sustainable Paddock which is an independent consultancy and regenerative farming coaching service specialising in livestock nutrition, mineral supplements.
Melissa’s passion lays in modern sustainable agriculture with a dedicated science background, working with producers large and small on mineral nutrition for livestock, mineral supplement designs, mineral deficiency and connecting to your WHY.
Increasing the knowledge and choosing the appropriate tools from the “toolboxes” at the right time and enhancing natural resources, while improving natural cycles in their farm and business, for their holistic context.
Day will have local case studies showing both soil and nutritional feed test and linking back to animal performance.
Lu Hogan, Manager of the Armidale Node of the SQNNSW Innovation Hub, will also present the latest technology on Ag360 (www.ag360.com.au) which records farm management data as well as predicting rainfall, soil moisture, pasture growth, animal weight and health risks up to 6 months in advance.
It is not necessary to have attend Workshop 1 and 2 to attend this workshop. All days are independent of each other but are linked. Resources from Workshop 1 and 2 will be provided on the day.
