Goomeri Explorer Ride

WHERE- Wooroolin to Goomeri on the South Burnett Rail Trail. Distance 44 kms. Mostly downhill.

WHEN- Meet in Wooroolin (at the carpark opposite the Wooroolin Vet), ready to leave by 8:00am. Morning Tea in Wondai. Goomeri for lunch approx. 12:30pm. Finish time 2:30pm. Ride briefing will be at 7:45am this is compulsory.

WHAT- Ride the South Burnett Rail Trail to Goomeri for lunch. Have 2 hours for lunch and to explore Goomeri. 

Lunch options include- 

*Goomeri Bakery

*The Grand Hotel

*The Goomeri Cafe.

While in Goomeri you can also visit:

*Wimberely and Co bookstore and Cafe

*Barambah Valley Confectionary

*Lightning Ridge Winery Cellar Door and more. 

You choose your own adventure once you are in Goomeri.

COST: There is a $20 booking fee. All these proceeds will be donated back to the Ride 4 Relay 2024, Relay for Life Team and in turn to Cancer Council QLD. So come on out and support a great cause.

LUNCH- You choose and pay. Please let us know where you will be having lunch by purchasing one of the free tickets . This allows us to give approximate numbers to the food outlets in Goomeri. This will help avoid delays in being fed.

RETURN BUS- Out There Cycling @ $30 per seat leaving at 2:30pm  from in the park opposite the Goomeri Emporium (on the Burnett Highway downhill from the bakery). YOU NEED TO PREBOOK A SPACE ON THE BUS. If you don’t book the bus you will need to make your own arrangements to get back to Wooroolin.😀
