Every brand- business and personal- has a story to tell. Has telling your story slipped down the priority list?

Write Here, Right Now Batch Writing Workshop is a day away from the daily grind, a chance to drop everything and just write. It’s a workshop that’s designed to help you banish the blank page and get some momentum on your writing projects. We’re talking bum to seat and fingers to keyboard to simply bang out your content.

A writing retreat in the true sense of the word, Write Here, Right Now offers dedicated writing time to progress your writing projects in a supportive, focussed realm fuelled by great food. We’ll batch write a ton of content through word sprints sandwiched between brief scheduled discussions designed to generate solutions to writing hiccups, develop drafts, set goals, provide market research from your fellow writers and get feedback on your writing in progress.

This workshop is perfect for people who:

  • Know that their story is the perfect way to connect with their ideal audience but need time to get it out of their head or content plan and onto the page.
  • Want to spend less time overall and much less angst crafting each piece of writing on their to-do list, be it blog posts, articles, social media captions, sales pages, pitches, emails or books.
  • Who want to blog and know what they want to say but blogging keeps slipping down the priority list.
  • Love what they do, but need help to polish their message.
  • Need someone with writerly eyes to take a squizz at their work and give some actionable feedback.
  • Want the public accountability of writing with others to keep them on track and motivated.
  • Want to work with a specialist communications writer who thrives on action, story, laughter and the occasional f-bomb.

Write Here, Right Now Batch Writing workshop is an all day, intimate writing retreat limited to 15 participants so I can give you personal, 100% practical support and feedback against your writing, as you’re writing. I may even get out my virtual red pen and scribble across your copy to show you how to improve it so your messages hit their intended targets. The design and format of the day is designed to be as chock full of fun, energy and support as it is about banging out the writing projects that have lingered far too long on your list. We’ll work hard, no doubt about it, but we’ll chat and laugh hard too. We’ll finish the day with bubbles to celebrate an intensive yet super-productive day’s work knocking over your writing projects.

Here's what some batchers had to say about the last batch writing day:

I signed up to Holly's Batch Writing Workshop because I have been putting off writing a book about my Dad for over 8 years. I knew I wanted to write a book but kept thinking it was too hard - both the actual writing and the emotional toll. Holly's workshop set out a clear map of how to get the content out of my head and into a structure, and then how to get it into words. It's been a week since I have done the batch writing day and I have mapped out over 16 chapters of content and even started writing! I now have a plan of 2 chapters a day to get my first draft done in a month. This inspiration has come from a single day with Holly! Could not recommend her enough...

I originally signed up as a way to blast through some content writing for my business blog, and I nailed that goal and then some. Holly provided participants with a content outline plan prior to the workshop that was just brilliant - as someone who has written a lot of blogs before, I wish I had access to this little gem a long time ago! The tool meant I had outlines prepared before the workshop, and could sit down and just smash out content on the day. Holly kept us all engaged with check-ins before each writing sprint, and then again afterwards. Seriously, I could write heaps more but it was simply fantastic. And I can't wait for the next one!

I'm still feeling the glow from attending Holly's Batch Writing Workshop last Friday. I signed up because I know that now more than ever the written word is important in communicating with my ideal clients, and I appreciate Holly's style - the perfect combo of energy + wisdom. I can't believe how much I got done under her guidance and encouragement. It was the most productive day I've had this year!

About your presenter:

Hi, I’m Holly Cardamone, communications specialist, writer for business and Word Nerd extraordinaire. My business is Blue51 Communications, and I help people tell their story and grow their brand using beautiful communications. For the past two decades, I’ve drafted hundreds of thousands of words for people in business. Whilst it’s in my Aussie-girl nature to be self-deprecating, I feel obliged to point out that I’m pretty damn good at what I do. I’m an unashamed and unabashed Word Nerd, with a Master of Writing and Literature and a Master of Arts in Communications to prove it. I use my love of language and my passion for communications to create strategies and tactics and products that weave creativity with professionalism.

I’m so incredibly excited to support your writing projects through Write Here, Right Now, my 1 Day Batch Writing Workshop. I’ll help you clarify your messages and get to the essence of what you do through smart effective writing and storytelling. Alongside your fellow batch writers, you’ll be encouraged, supported, motivated and cheer-led with dedicated time and expert guidance to simply Get. It. Done. It’s strict bum on seat, fingers to the keyboard time for writing, with some prework to help you set achievable goals and spark your creativity and specialist support to get the words flowing throughout the day.

This is an opportunity to work on your writing and content projects without distractions and to finish the content tasks that have been bugging you for too long.

So... care to join me for a fabulous day of writing? Let's do this!
