2025 Advanced Palliative Care Workshop - 19th September 2025

The full day workshop is aimed at all healthcare professionals with experience supporting children and young people with paediatric palliative care or end-of-life care needs, and their families. It is highly encouraged that participants have previously attended a Paediatric Palliative Care Service or QuoCCA education event within the past few years.

The 2024 Workshop Theme: 

• Each year, the workshop focuses on a distinct theme. 
• For the year 2024, the theme is Paediatric End-of-Life Communication. 
• Please be advised that this is a repeat of the 2024 workshop due to a substantial waitlist.

When: Friday, 19th September 2025. 8am - 1630pm

Where: Queensland Children’s Hospital auditorium, Level 7, 501 Stanley St, South Brisbane

Cost: Free, numbers will be limited to 50 participants.

Please note, BYO morning tea and lunch required. Refreshments may be purchased on-site.

Parking: Hancock Street carpark, Mater carparks, Southbank Parklands carparks – costs apply. Mater Hill bus station is directly opposite the hospital. If traveling by rail, the closest train station is Southbank. It is a 500m walk from the train station to the hospital.

This event is planned to be run only as an in-person event.
