SCREAM & DREAM - Parramatta Gaol Sleepover

Join us for an incredible night at this amazing and reputedly haunted prison if you dare!

Are you brave enough to take part in a scary overnight ghost hunt for just 20 attendees, followed by a creepy sleepover inside one of Australia’s oldest prisons. A place which was home to tens of thousands of the worst of the worst in the prison system in Australia, over the 174 years it was operational.

Once dusk falls, take the plunge and experience a night of scary ghost hunting inside the formidable and incredibly haunted Parramatta Gaol, then settle down for a terrifying, chilling sleepover until the break of dawn.

Parramatta Gaol, an exclusive event to APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours, was built in 1837 and was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

This creepy old prison comes with a turbulent, historical past, including hundreds of murders, accidental deaths and suicides.

What’s included in this ghost hunt:

• 9 hours in the gaol, from dusk till dawn
• Start the night with a ghost tour of the location
• Head back to base for a pizza supper (COVID-Safe - we will serve you with utensils)
• Full use of ghost hunting equipment provided
• Free time to investigate by yourself
• Onsite parking for those who are staying the whole night
• Séance, ouija board, table tipping experiments and vigils in the most active areas of the location.

Pizza, soft drink, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, however should you have any specific dietary requirements, then you are welcome to bring along your own, strictly no alcohol, thank you.

Please Note:

• Before booking this event please read the following as per our terms and conditions that are agreed at the point of sale:
• All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of any circumstances.
• When you make a booking with us it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you are able to make the event date that you have booked, as APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours cannot offer a refund or transfer your places onto another event date if you or any of your party are unable to attend.
• The reason for this is that all places are paid for in advance to our locations, which means we are still liable for these costs even if you cannot attend the event.
• You will be provided either a bed or a sleeping mat to sleep on.
• Sleeping arrangements are in a dorm-like situation. Guests must sleep in the area provided by APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours.
• Toilets are unisex 'prison' style, with graffiti on the walls some may find offensive.
• Please bring portable power banks and chargers as power points are not guaranteed.
• Over 18's only.
• Please ensure you have full mobility before attending this event, as you will be required to climb stairs.
• Please note, the event will be guided for the ghost hunt portion of the night (approximately 2 hours), but the free time will see the staff sleeping or investigating. Should you need us, you will be given a phone number to call.
• Important: If anyone arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or is suspected of bringing alcoholic drinks to the event, they will not be allowed to stay for the night and will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
